For those of you who do not know, the state of Meghalaya in India receives the highest amount of rainfall each year  in the world, and is considered to be the wettest place on planet Earth. No wonder that the literal translation of Meghalaya is “the abode of clouds”. This picture was taken when the monsoon was at its very best, and shows a lady taking a brief stroll in the midst of  lush greenery, hazy milky clouds and a never-ending rain; living a life in a watery world.
