Kaziranga National Park, located at the far eastern state of Assam in India, is a forest basking in the glory of successful conservation. For, in just a span of a hundred years, the population of the one-horned Rhinoceros has increased from a mere hundred to more than two thousand of them today, who freely roam the vast grass expanses of the National Park. And not to mention, the tremendous efforts, sacrifices and dedication of the guards of the forest, without whom, the wild would not have survived.
