Taken at the Ambubachi Festival, which is held in the month of June at the Kamakhya Temple in Assam, a few local boys can be seen sitting on the lapse of a temple and enjoying the rhymes sung for Mother God. The festival marks the completion of the yearly menstruation cycle of the Mother Goddess and it is believed that during the monsoon rains, the creative and nurturing power of the ‘menses’ of Mother Earth becomes accessible to devotees at this site, making it a hub for Tantric practices.

There is no “Mother God”. The earth is a created place God, the Father created to be inhabited. Idolarty will get them nowhere. Connie

Well, religion and the truth is beyond my imagination and understanding. All I do is depict the different realities. 🙂
There is a saying in the Bhagavad Gita which is the a very important text of Hinduism,
“It is much difficult to focus on God as the unmanifested than God with form, due to human beings having the need to perceive via the senses.”
