We had left from Along to Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh, traveling in the Siang Valley. A week of rain had given way to a spectacular sunshine. There were massive cloud formations and a blue blissful sky. The green was still wet from the water, rejuvenated. The mountains felt young and alive. It was the change of seasons; the summer monsoon was leaving, the fall was a month away, and then, the leaves would fall.
