Recently, I had visited the Reh Festival in Arunachal Pradesh. Celebrated by the Mishmi Tribe, a sunny beautiful weather welcomed me on my arrival at Tezu for the 2 days event. Ever charming and ever friendly, the Mishmis roamed proud wearing their colorful traditional dresses and they performed elaborate dances which told stories of their indigenous culture. The food was exotic, the rice beer was tasty and the pretty Mishmi womenfolk were graceful enough to pose for photographs that I cherish.

This is the first time I’m hearing about the “Mishmi People”
Hopefully, they are friendly and delightful like all other Indians.
I would wish to visit, but my holiday priorities are at the Middle East right now ๐
Hi Surge. Yes the Mishmis are warm and mysterious people of the old world. Hope you can meet them some day.
