Sally Lake is located near the town of Roing in eastern Arunachal Pradesh. Not frequently visited by outsiders, except by the local tribesmen who often come in search for a quick meal of fish, the lake is a serene sight with its lust greenery and fresh water. The above photograph was taken in December last year on an unusually rainy day for a winter month. We had met three tribal youths, who, like us, had come to catch fish. Unfortunately, none of us succeeded, except one guy who ended up hooking a crab. But it was a day well spent. The lake was blissful and the dark cold weather felt comfortably numb.

So still, so serene and fresh they look. Beautifully captured!
Thank you for the lovely comments.
Nature sometimes is so tenderly peaceful, divine and quite that I can spend hours enjoying its tranquility. It speaks thousands of words in silence. Love its fresh look.
Appreciate your comments Mousumi. Nature rocks!
