The state of Meghalaya in India is a green wonderland, created by massive amounts of rainfall each year. The above picture was taken at Barapani Lake, a man-made reservoir that provides life to the people living here. And when the monsoons arrive, the whole landscape turns into a tale of magic, with over-fed lakes, gushing streams and thunderous waterfalls.
