Photo Of The Day ~ Feast For The Gods

During the Murung Festival of the fascinating Apatani Tribe who live in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in Northeastern India,  it is all about eating (but not before sacrificing to the Gods), dancing and merry making. Seen here in the village of Ziro, a group of men get ready for the feast of feasts – a giant Mithun.
